{two} My husband surprised me this weekend. Whenever he needs his hair cut he drives down super early in the morning to Point Loma (where we went to college) to the local barber shop he's been using for years. This weekend he brought back a surprise for me. Breakfast from our favorite spot from the college years, Reds.
Coffee & A Screamin' Green Bagel (onion bagel, scrambled egg, pepper jack cheese, spinach, avocado, and applewood bacon) Delicious!!!
{three} Some thoughts on Donovan:
* When will he start sleeping through the night again? This 5th month has totally thrown us for a loop. He's waking up so much in the night and I am exhausted! I'm trying some more solids this week to see if filling him up more will help.
* He is getting soooo long! Look at those legs. Donovan's Grammie bought him these shorts and they're 12-18 months from GAP. He's already sporting them at nearly 6 months. Hard to believe how fast he's growing.
* Any moms out there have any experience with getting their little ones back to the bottle? He used to be a bottle champ and now he is totally stubborn about it. He starts sucking and then just chews on the nipple and spits it out... followed by screaming tantrums. It almost seems like it hurts his gums or something. Maybe? Who knows? I hate investing in different kinds of bottles when he was taking the bottles we have just fine. Thoughts?
P.S. When did our dark haired baby turn into such a blondie?
{four} I have been inspired by Little Lucy Lu to whip up my very own "Mom Cave." It involves some large frames, foam board, fabric, chalkboard paint, and a trip to IKEA. Stay tuned for that one. I can't wait to see how it turns out.
